Matthew Tobin Anderson, known as M.T., is an award-winning American author of books for children and young adults. Born in Massachusetts, he attended Harvard, University of Cambridge, and Syracuse University. A former instructor at Vermont College and music critic for The Improper Bostonian, he also worked at Candlewick Press before his novel Thirsty was accepted for publication. In 2006 he was the National Book Award Winner for Young People’s Literature for The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing. In 2002 he was a finalist for the National Book Award and winner of the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Feed. |
