Note: Please come early to avoid disappointment.  Attendance is limited to 25 children accompanied by caregivers and doors close 5 minutes after storytime begins to provide a more engaging experience.

About the Library
The Dumbarton Area Library opened in its present location in 1976, following the complete renovation of what was originally the Dumbarton Elementary School. A bright and welcoming facility, Dumbarton attracts residents of the North-side community and beyond. In 2005, Henrico voters approved a bond referendum which includes the future replacement of the facility with a 40,000 square foot facility, expandable to 60,000 square feet.
