To register from
INSIDE the libraries:
  1. Go to NetLibrary's Create a Free Account page to create your account.
  2. Enter the requested information.
  3. Click the Create Account button.

To register from
OUTSIDE the libraries:

  1. Go to CHPL's Remote Authentication for NetLibrary page.
  2. Enter your library card number and click Validate. You will be routed to NetLibrary.
  3. Click on the Create a Free Account link in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
  4. Enter the requested information.
  5. Click the Create Account button.

Troubleshooting

  1. If you encounter a problem:
    There is a possibility some Internet security application on your computer is blocking you from NetLibrary’s page that has the link to “Create a New Account.”

    You have several options:

    • You can temporarily disable the Internet security application and then turn it on again when you have created your account.
    • You can make www.netlibrary.com an approved site in your Internet security application.
    • You can come into any of our libraries and create an account.
  2. View a list of supported devices.
    This Tested Players list represents players we have tested satisfactorily with NetLibrary eAudiobooks to date, along with important notes and specific features. We are currently evaluating additional devices as part of an on-going effort to stay up-to-date with the rapidly changing portable device market.
