Building vocabularies and growing curious kiddos is as easy as talking with them about the things you see around you every day!

Our children’s librarians just learned about a very cool, vocabulary-building opportunity happening this weekend in Richmond:

100th Anniversary of the Old Hull Street Railroad Station
Presented by the Old Dominion Chapter of the National Railway Society

There are sure to be tons of train-related things for kids to check out, including an entire room filled with an HO-gauge model-railroad layout! This is going to be an awesome opportunity for little train-crazy kids to see the real trains that inspired the stories about Thomas and his friends.
