Monday, October 26 @ 6:30: Get into the Halloween spirit! Join us for not-too-spooky games and crafts. Trick-or-treating stations will be set up throughout the library, so don't forget your costume! Presented by the Northwest Teen Advisory Board and supported by the Friends of the Library.

Tuesday, October 27 @ 6:30 pm: Put on your costume, bring a treag bag and get ready to boogie & gather some treats! For ages 3 and older.

Thursday, October 29 @ 7 pm: Help us celebrate Halloween with a magic show starring the Amazing Mr. B! Halloween treats will be shared at the end of the show.

Join us for games, face painting, crafting, storytelling, and more! This free event is great for families looking for a safe and fun indoor Halloween celebration. Costumes encouraged. Hosted by the West End TAB and sponsored by the Friends of the Tuckahoe Library.

Sat, Oct 17 Noon-4pm Meadow Farm Museum

Celebrate the harvest with fun for the whole family. Explore hands-on activities and demonstrations such as candle dipping, apple pressing, tractor rides, and living history exhibits. Enjoy live musical entertainment and the Wild West Medicine Show. Children can pick their own pumpkin to take home from the “Great Pumpkin Patch”. Concessions will be available for purchase. Mercedes and the Chocolate Pilot by Margot Theis Raven is the true story of a German girl and American pilot who help the children of West Berlin by dropping candy-filled parachutes during the Airlift.

How Sweet it Is (and Was) by Ruth Freeman Swain is a brief history of candies and gum, including recipes for sugar paste, fudge and taffy.
