Teens love to read, teens love books, and they love their libraries! This month, in particular, is all about showing love to the library. Henrico County Public Library offers so much more than just books: there are meeting spaces, quiet study areas, Digital Media Labs, and programs. The best way to show your library love is to visit us!

When you are browsing through our teen collection, you never know what you might find! For our January post, I decided to take a look at our teen shelves at Twin Hickory and highlight any unusual and interesting books I noticed. Enjoy a look at some unique titles and topics!

There were so many great teen books released this year… it was hard to choose which ones to talk about! There are graphic novels, fantasy, fiction and even poetry on the list, so no matter what you like to read there is something for you.

Winter is on its way and for some, that means one thing—time to craft! December is the perfect month to hone your skills at arts and crafts. Not sure where to start? Here are some how-to books on everything from crafts to drawing!

This week is International Games Week! Henrico County Public Library is celebrating with lots of great gaming sessions. Several locations will have various “old-school” table top board games and other locations will also have gaming consoles to play!

It is once again time for our Henrico Christmas Mother Book Drive. Henrico Christmas Mother assists families in economic need and of all religious backgrounds at the holiday time. Our Teen Advisory Boards have set up boxes at all Henrico libraries for donations of new or gently used books for children and teens.
