Starting June 15, the more books you read and the more activities you take part in this summer, the more prizes you will be eligible to win! Log reading, writing, and other literacy activities online to earn badges and prizes. Summer Reading is sponsored by the Friends of Henrico County Public Library. Keep reading to find out more.

Pre-register for the program on Beanstack! Once you’ve registered, make sure to check in at your local library branch any time after June 15 to collect everything you will need to stay engaged throughout the summer: a Summer Reading log, pencil, bookmark, and collectible enamel pin.
To reach your goal, all you need to do is earn 10 badges.

As you reach milestones along the way, you will earn tickets that can be used to enter various grand prize drawings:

Grand prize winners will be selected through random drawings taking place on August 16, 2021.

In addition, once you have logged at least one book, review, or activity after sign up, you will be automatically entered into our weekly $25 gift card drawings. These will take place Fridays between June 18 – August 13 and will feature local and major retailers.

The Youth Fine Free Summer program means youth materials will not have late fines this summer - which we hope will encourage your Summer Reading!
