Henrico Christmas Mother Book Drive

Our Teen Advisory Boards are once again collecting books as part of the Henrico Christmas Mother Campaign! We are accepting donations of new children’s books at all library locations.

We are drawn to stories about ghosts, hauntings, and the paranormal for many reasons. For some it is thrill-seeking, curiosity, or a need to be scared. Others are drawn to the stories because of the very human history they highlight. Whatever draws you to the supernatural, we have books you will love.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the Latin Ballet

Have you ever tried to Tango? Slipped into a Salsa? Felt the urge to Flamenco or been moved to Mambo? These are just a few of the many styles of Latin Dance popular throughout the world today. Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated annually from September 15 to October 15, is the perfect time to learn more about this lively and passionate dance tradition through a special performance from the Latin Ballet of Virginia.

The New Fairfield Area Library is Open!

We are so thankful to all of you who attended the opening of the new Fairfield Area Library. More than 2500 citizens visited the library on Sunday, and checked out over 1100 books.
