HCPL will be performing system maintenance on Friday, January 19, from 4:00 AM until 6:00 AM. During this time, many of our online systems will be unavailable. These include:

  • The online catalog
  • OverDrive
  • Hoopla
  • RBDigital
  • Freading
  • Room reservation system
  • Event registration (for events that require registration)

We apologized for any inconvenience this may cause.

You can log in to one of our public computers to print your documents, or print from your own device using wireless printing. Black-and-white printing and copies are available at all Henrico libraries for 10¢ per page. Where available, color printing and copies cost 50¢ per page. Add funds to your account for printing using the kiosk in your library.

Wireless Printing

You can upload your documents to the library's cloud service, SmartAlec, from anywhere you have an internet connection, to print within seven days of upload at the library location of your choice. Ask a librarian for assistance with wireless printing.

HCPL Computer & Internet Use Policy

Offered at all Henrico libraries, our diverse book discussion groups satisfy a wide range of interests. Newcomers are always welcome to these open book clubs—feel free to come regularly, or just for the titles that interest you.

The Great American Read

The Great American Read is a national program from PBS to select America's most favorite novel from a list of 100. To encourage our patrons to read these books, we are offering book discussions for several of the titles. These book discussions are part of HCPL's programming for The Great American Read. Programming for The Great American Read is offered as part of a grant from the American Library Association and PBS.
